Woodland
Woodlands are areas of land covered with trees, which can be home to many different plants, grasses, and form the habitats for a variety of creatures.
Waxwing
The waxwing is a colourful winter visitor. It can often be spotted in large flocks in berry-laden bushes in towns, car parks and gardens.
My windswept lands
BBC presenter, Ben Garrod, loves Norfolk’s huge skies, breath-taking beauty and its untamed wild side. So much so he has become Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s first Ambassador, helping to inspire others…
Freshwater and wet places
Our wetlands range from small ponds and tiny streams to lengthy rivers like the Severn and huge wetlands like the Somerset Levels, East Anglian Fens and the Norfolk Broads.
Acorn weevil
