What we do: Meet new friends and learn about nature through fun games and activities.Each session has a different theme such as pond dipping, bug safari, nature trails, practical conservation, arts and crafts. Who for: Children aged 7 – 11 years. When: Once a month on a Sunday afternoon (March – December, except August). Where: We meet at The Green Room, The Visitor Centre, Shipley Country Park, Slack Lane, Shipley Country Park, Heanor, Derbyshire, DE75 7GX. How much does it cost: £9 registration for the year. Previous Nature Watch Club members created a recycling mural for the Courtyard at the Visitor Centre to help encourage visitors to recycle their waste. They did a fantastic job, had great fun doing it and it is now up for everyone to admire. Well done!

Shipley Country Park's Nature Watch Club is due to re-start in March with lots of games to help everyone get to know each other. We are taking on new members now so why not join in the fun!?
