If you're nuts about nature, fanatical about having fun and love being outdoors then come along to the Wildlife Watch group at Highgate. We meet every last Saturday of the month, 2-4pm. Watchers can expect to learn new I.D skills, help look after the environment and have a whole lot of fun!! It only costs £1, so why not join us and make some new Wildlife Watch friends. Spooky Saturday

We hope everyone is looking forward to Halloween as it creeps ever closer. We know our watchers will be ready with their new jack-o-lanterns that they carved on Saturday.

But that's not all they got up to! We had a fun filled meeting which included making witches' and wizards' broomsticks for a hunt around Highgate for spooky wildlife. The watchers also got their hands slimy whilst looking at the crazy coloured fungi that have popped up.

Don't forget our next meeting will be a week early. It will be held on the 23rd of November, so we hope to see you then.

Creepy Crawly Crazy

Hello Watchers!!

We had a fantastic Creepy Crawly Crazy event on Saturday 30th June with Sweep- Netting, Tree-Shaking and following the Butterfly Trail! We found some very interesting mini-beasts including shield-bugs, weevils, grasshoppers, spiders, mining bees and one very pretty Ringlet butterfly caught by one of our younger members - Well Done!!

Everyone was then given the materials to make their very own creepy crawly mobiles - The Watch leaders would love to see photos of the finished pieces!

Updates of the next Watch meeting (Saturday 28th July) will be added soon,
Until then......keep exploring!!
