Sorry to say that Barry, who was going to lead the sea dipping at Cleethorpes on 15th October is poorly and won't be able to do it after all. We have had to cancel the meeting.
BEST WISHES to Barry for a speedy recovery!
Don't forget you can still join in Wildlife Watch activities if you can get to the WATCH GRAND DAY OUT at Whisby Nature Park, near Lincoln, on Saturday 8th October. To find out more and to book, please ring 01522 696926

Although we haven't had regular meetings this year, Clifford, Chris and Mary have been missing going sea dipping!
So we've asked Barry to organise one for us again this year.
PLEASE BOOK WITH CLIFFORD FIRST, and try to book before the thursday before the meeting if possible so we are sure of numbers.
Saturday 15 October, 12.30pm start.
Contact Clifford via the Watch email on

It is with great sadness that we report the death of our much-loved Wildlife Watch leader, Eileen Jukes. She died in April, aged 76, after a short illness. She and Clifford have run the group for many years and, in fact, there are many grown-ups around who have them both to thank for encouraging their interest in wildlife.
Her warmth, wit and enthusiasm will be greatly missed.
Our heartfelt best wishes go to Clifford, who, understandanbly, is giving the Watch group a rest for the time being.

At our February meeting, we went to Hubbards Hills in Louth to make birdboxes. We felt very proud of them! Let's hope the birds like them too!
