Our group formed in October 2009 and we meet on the second saturday of the month, either at The Old Rec, Torbryan or Ipplepen Village Hall. Currently our older members are working towards their John Muir award, through fun and interesting sessions involving tree planting, making and installing bird boxes at our wild place. We are plannning an overnight camp there in June to explore and discover the animals who inhabit the wood at night with some moth traps and bat detecting.

A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored Daniel Best on his recent 35 mile sponsored walk, which raised £84. This money has gone towards buying much need equipment to provide a wider range of experiences.
Also we have been successful in getting a £450 grant out of the Co-op, towards our up coming "Overnight Camp" with getting safety gear, Kitchen tent and pans etc.
These have been some much need funds for our club, as we are a self-funding community group. So if you want to raise any funds for us or know of any grant sources. Please contact us with the details.
