Junior Wildlife Rangers

Just a quick message to all the Junior Rangers out there. Thank you all for coming along to the sessions this year. I hope it has been as fun for you as it has for me and the other leaders. Hopefully you should all receive the new programme in the next couple of weeks. They have been sent. Let me know if you don't.

There are some (hopefully) good things coming up next year - Mountains, survival skills, wildlife gardening, and more.

Have a great christmas, qand don't forget that wildlife will happily eat up your leftover crumbs this christmastime!

The day dawned as wet as good could be, and the forecast was for more rain throughout the day. Well it was August in Great Britain what else could we do but go to the beach?

We got onto the buses and headed off for the coast. It carried on raining all the way there. But then it cleared up and eventually the sun came out.

We spent the afternoon rock pooling, and scouring the shore for crabs and other creatures. We found loads of edible and shore crabs, of all different sizes, a pipe fish, lots of Shrimps and even a comb Jelly! It was a great day and all of the Rangers were really good!
