For a chance to win an amazing X-Ray Model Kit from Revell, we asked you to make your own model of your favourite UK animal.
What a variety of animals you sent in! There were bats, sharks, rabbits and moles. There was even a dinosaur! You also used an amazing range of building materials including pipe cleaners, clay, plastic bags and paper. Check out the slideshow below to see some of the amazing models sent in.
We had three frog sets and three shark sets to give away. And the winners are:
Mole by Ahmed Hamadache (aged 11) from Leicester

We always like to see more unusual animals in these competitions, and we though Ahmed's mole was great! Made from playdough and then painted, this little fella looks like he's peeping out over the top of a molehill.
Grass snake by Jessica Cannon (aged 4) from Bedfordshire

Jessica made this superb snake from glazed clay. She also sent us a stag with impressive antlers. You've already got a good eye for modelling animals, Jessica!
Leatherback Turtle by Alex Chapman (aged 10) from Dorset

Alex loves making things and is animal mad! He chose an unusual marine creature for his model and it caught our eye. Leatherback turtles sometimes visit UK shores to feed on jellyfish.
Wild boar by Emily Goy (aged 9) from Gloucestershire

We were very impressed with the way Emily made her wild boar model. She collected natural clay from the River Severn with her mother and brother to make it, and used cocktail sticks for the tusks and to make the hairy texture on its back.
Hedgehog by Oscar Wilson-Troy (aged 6) from East Sussex

Oscar made a worm for his hedgehog to eat and even photographed it in its natural habitat. We liked those extra touches, Oscar!
Barbastelle Bat by Lawrence O'Toole (aged 6) from Warwickshire

Lawrence likes to go bat watching at Brandon Marsh nature reserve and says that bats are his favourite UK animals. He made his model out of bin bags with sticks and a plasticine head. We love it!
