What are nature stars?

About: This trailing plant is at home in grassland, roadsides, dunes and waste ground. It flowers between June and August.

How to identify: Look for the thin red creepers of new stems and the silvery undersides of toothed leaf fronds. Flowers have five yellow petals.

Where: Very common, grows all over the UK and Ireland
