Stockgrove Wildlife Watch

Stockgrove Wildlife Watch group logo

The Stockgrove Wildlife Watch group usually meets at Stockgrove Country Park, Heath and Reach. The Country Park has a variety of wonderful habitats including a lake, ancient woodland conifer plantations, meadows and heath. The lake is noted for its colourful Mandarin ducks; on the meadows green woodpeckers may be seen feeding on ants among the wildflowers and grasses. Our Watch leaders Esther, John, Alexe and Sheila know the Park really well and love taking the group out to explore the fantastic wildlife it has to offer. Meetings take place on the second Wednesday of each month, from 6pm to 8pm. For more information about this group please contact Esther Clarke on 01525 237760 or email stockgrovewildlifewatch@googlemail.com. For more information about forthcoming events see the event diary below. We look forward to welcoming you to the group.
