Rain Stop Play (Again)

Low Barns was flooded on Saturday with water lapping up to the Visitors Centre. We'll hopefully see everyone in the dry in February. In the meantime you can make it to Low Barns on Tuesday 29th December The Heart of Durham Team are building a giant Bug Hotel. There is also a chance to make a small hibernarium for your patch. Check the events section at www.durhamwt.com for details and ring to book a place.

4th July Away Day Rockpooling

Hi everyone, we are heading to Seaham on the 4th July for our away day.
Meet at Low Barns 10am, we'll be 0n the beach for 11. Kirsty will be our rock pooling expert., Remember to bring your picnic and we'll have time for a sand sculpture session before leaving to be back at Low Barns for 3. Mini-bus places or car-share available. Bring food and drink, wet weather and warm clothing, spades and some ice-cream money :-)
