Longdendale

The Peak District National Park, working with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust are running a Wildlife Watch group at the Longdendale Environmental Centre. The group provides activities for children aged up to 14years old.

Meetings are held on the first Sunday of every month 1:30 -3:30pm at the Longdendale Environmental Centre (unless otherwise stated). Below is a list of our current programme. You should always book a place at these meetings, this helps us ensure we have adequate staff and resources for the events. Please note parents are expected to remain with children under 8 years old.

4th Dec Dopey Dormice
5th Feb. Birds, boxes and feeders
4th March Bogs and Boggarts (meeting at Crowden)
1st April Pond Dipping and Mini Beasts
