Our 2016 dates!

January 9th
A visit to ' Exotics of the World' for an interactive talk on reptiles.

February 6th
Spiders! Venue tbc but possibly at "Exotics of the World". Contact Jan to confirm and book.

March 5th
Owls -- up close and personal!
Venue TBA

April 2nd
Tealby / Walesby walk.

During which we should encounter a variety of wildlife such as deer, sheep, birds, wild flower etc.
Meet at Tealby Church 10 am.

May 7th
Tetney Blow wells, the geology and waterways. Treasure hunt.
Meet at the church in Tetney at 10 am

June 4th
Walk around the Mausoleum area at Great Limber.
Identifying Wild flowers and insects / butterflies.

July 2nd
A guided walk round 'Redhill Nature Reserve'
Wild flowers and butterflies

August 6th tbc
Chambers Farm Woods, Hoop lane, Apley, Market Rasen, LN85JR. Butterfly Conservation Lincolnshire branch Open Day.

September 3rd
Beach forage.
Meet at the Discovery Centre.

October 1st
Artwork using 'treasure' from the previous beach forage.
Meet at the Discovery Centre.

November 5th
Green men in the woods. Get creative with clay to scare away evil!
Meet at Bradley woods.

Dec 3rd
No meeting.

Vanson Centre
Making bug hotels. RSPB homes for nature. Collect and bring a variety of materials e.g thistle stalks, other hollow stalks , canes, large plastic bottle. Research various web sites.

March 7th
Cleethorpes country park nature walk. Meet in the car park on the country park just off humberstone r about. Alternatively we could go to the discovery centre depending on the weather

April 4th
Visit to Far Ings, Nature Reserve Barton Bird watching By train? With a pack up? Meet at Far Ings. Time to be arranged.

May 2nd
Redhill cottage.
Seed sowing and planting. Growing herbs and edible flowers for taking home to nurture.

June 6th
Meet at the Bradley sports centre
Herb identification and uses with Emma Warrener. cooking with herbs. Confirmed.

July 4th
Meet at leisure centre
Cleethorpes dunes exploration from leisure centre to Meridian point.

Aug 1st
Park at Jan's at Redhill cottage.
Walk in Ravendale valley. Refreshments at Jans.
