Went to the garden centre yesterday and saw a grey wagtail and also saw a
green woodpecker at rugby today.

Went to Florida and saw some amazing birds with bright colours. Some included, Purple Gallinule, Tricoloured Heron, Eatern Bluebird, Cardinal, Summer Tanager, Sora, Limpkin, Blue and a Green Heron. A Mockingbird was waking us up in the morning. Also saw some birds of prey including a Bald Eagle on our first day. Others were Red Shouldered Hawk, Osprey, Kestrel, Crested Caracara, Black and Turkey Vultures. Watched a Red Bellied Woodpecker get a nut out of a tree and a wild turkey walk past.

Mute Swan, Magpie, Collard Dove, Jackdaw, Lapwing, Coot, Pheasant, Shelduck, Little Egret, Mallard, Gadwall, Cormorant, Skylark, Sand Martin, Wood Pigeon, Greylag and Canada Geese, Grey Heron, Shovler, Moorhen, Carrion Crow, Black Headed Gull, Great Crested Grebe, Tufted Duck, Pochard, Reed Bunting, Chiffchaff, Dunnock, Greenfinch, Robin, Black Cap, Goldfinch, Blackbird, Greenshank, Starling, Curlew, Reed Bunting and a Herring Gull.

Marsh Frog, Centipede, Millipede, White Tailed Bumble Bee, Earth Worm, Lipped Snail, Smooth Newt, Woodlice, Slug, Ground Beetle, Green Veined, Orange Tipped and Wood Speckled Butteryflies.

Went on the kids birdwatch walk today, was good to see a weasel for the first time. Was also the first time saw a ruff.

Little Grebe. Ruff, Worm.
