What are nature stars?

About: This plant prefers to usually grows (as you would suspect) in bog habitat. In July and August the sulpher-yellow bright flowers of Bog Asphodel stand out and the colour lasts well ater flowering. 

How to identify: The flowers are star shaped and within them the stalks are covered in dense yellow hairs.

Where: It is very common in the UK and Ireland, but grows considerablu less in England

Fantastic fact: Poisonous to both sheep and cattle.
