Explore life beneath the waves around Britain with Benny the Blenny
Need a good hedgehog activity, Hedgeina? I read about a good one in the Autumn issue of Wildlife Watch magazine.
Make Your Own Animal Footprint Trap
Fill a low-sided tray with damp sand, smooth it our flat and put it in a likely place outside. Put a bowl of cat or dog food in the middle and leave it overnight, then come back and see if it's had any visitors. I tried it and got cat and squirrel footprints!
Mushrooms! Mushrooms everywhere!
Have you seen any amazing toadstools? So far I've found red ones with spots, gooey ones that melt into sludge, smelly ones that are all sticky and huge spongey ones under the trees.
Fungi is fantastic!
Mmmm - delicious blackberries!
They're all over the place at the moment and I've been tucking in. You should see my nose, it's gone purple with all the juice.
Hope I don't get a tummy ache...
Saw my first flock of geese of the year yesterday evening. They were flying in a giant V-shape across the sky, honking all the way.
Do you think that means that autumn is almost here?
Well done to everyone who has signed our Petition Fish so far - you're doing your bit to help save our seas! I've been getting all my badger friends to sign it too (although some of them need a bit of help typing their name on the keyboard).
And to all you sunflower growers out there - don't forget to send in your entries for your chance to win a bird feeding kit. You just need to take a picture of yourself next to your sunflower and send it in with its measurements to email@example.com
