Watch Out for Hereford City Watch Group!
More about this trust
Have you heard about Hereford City Watch Group? It’s a monthly club (usually on the second Sunday of each month) that gives children the chance to explore, learn and interact with nature in a fun and friendly environment. Each meeting has a different theme, in the past they have looked at bumble bees, pond life, food chains, eggs and feathers. Most meetings start with something practical, a chance to learn something new whether its how to use a magnifying glass or dissecting an owl pellet! There is always a great creative activity to do relating to the meetings theme and there’s usually a game to play too. Come along to the next meeting at Hereford Cathedral Junior School (entrance on Quay Street). There is a small charge of £2 per child which covers the cost of the rooms and a mid-meeting drink. For more information and details of future dates please check Herefordshire Nature Trust's Website http://www.herefordshirewt.org/watch/events.htm or contact Jo Dainty (Watch Organiser) 01432 356872 or Mary Roberts (Watch Leader) on 01432 278328.
