Autumn at Bay Pond

Join us for an open day at Bay Pond Educational Nature Reserve in Godstone. Fun for all ages with activities including pond dipping, bug hunting and a manned bird hide. SWT goods and refreshments will be on sale all day. Meet at: Pedestrian entrance to Bay Pond Nature Reserve, sign posted from Godstone High Street. Nearest car park Godstone Green. Mad about Bats at Nower Wood

Family evening for adults and children run by SWT Nower Wood in Leatherhead. Come to see and hear the bats at Nower Wood using a bat detector with batty slides and a talk. Minimum age 7 years and under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable clothing and bring a torch. Come and discover the nocturnal animals (mammals, invertebrates and amphibians) of Nower Wood.Minimum age 7 years and under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. WILD TIMES – Halloween at Nower Wood

Halloween event for children run by SWT Nower Wood in Leatherhead. Experience the spooky sights, sounds and smells of Nower Wood. Come if you dare! There will be activities and games with an environmental theme. Dress up if you want to, but you are advised to bring wet weather/warm clothing. Suitable for children aged 5-8 years with and accompanying adult. Please arrive for a PROMPT start at 5.30pm. A winter woodland walk will lead you to see Father Christmas in his magical grotto. Then back in the warm to make some Christmas crafts using natural materials. CHRISTMAS AT THE SEMAPHORE TOWER

Father Christmas is back and taking time out from his very busy schedule to pay us another very special visit. Why not come along and meet Father Christmas, receive a gift, make some Christmas crafts, take part in our fun Christmassy treasure trail and listen to some festive Christmas carols. Hot drinks and mince pies will be available on the day to help warm you up if the weather is cold. Please wear warm/wet weather clothing. Recommended for children aged 4 – 8 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
