EDEN PROJECT

TODAY, WITH MY SCHOOL I WENT TO THE EDEN PROJECT!!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw a Blackbird, Song Thrush, a Blue T, a Chaffinch, heard a Greenfinch, a Robin, which came up really close, Irises, Tulips and loads of Daffodils. In the tropical biome it was really hot and sticky and inside I saw a GREEN ANOLE LIZARD. It was so cool! Also there were plants like Bamboo, Papaya, Mangroves, African Blackwood, Maria, Rubber, Rattan Palm, Raffio Palm, Red Stinkwood, Betel Nut Palm, Brazil Cloze, Umbrella Tree, Suiss – Cheese plant, Screw Pine, Chicle, Assai Palm, Gueiroba, Torch Ginger, Greater Galangal, Taro, Elephant Yam, Split Hibiscus, and African Quinne. The weather was sunny and a bit cold. Picture above is one that I took

Rare Bird

Today I went to RSPB Lodmoor Nature Reserve, and I saw this really rare bird called a LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER its an American bird (Picture above). These three birdwatchers showed it to me. They let me look through their telescopes to see it.
Also at Lodmoor I saw; a Greenfinch; ten Canada Geese; four Shelducks; a Grey Heron; two Blue Tits; three Moorhen; a Cormorant; a Shoveler; two Mute Swans; two Teals; forty Mallards; two Woodpigeons; a Robin; an Oystercatcher; a Snipe; forty Lapwings; four Dunlins; a Black-Tailed Godwit; a Dunnock; a Gadwall; two Chaffinches; a Lesser Black-Backed Gull; and a Blackbird.

GREEN WOODPECKER!!!!!!

I have finally seen a Green Woodpecker!!!!! It was amazing!!!! Yesterday mum and I went to Lodmoor Nature Reserve at 3:00pm. No sooner had we arrived there it was a Green Woodpecker, which I have never seen before!!!! Also at Lodmoor I saw a Kestrel, Magpies, a Cormorant, a Robin, a Blackbird, Moorhens, Coots, a Grey Heron, Mallards, Shelducks and a Lapwing.
