About: A common, large finch of gardens, parks, woodland and farmland. About 15cm long. Greenfinches are large, chunky finches, olive green, grey and yellow. They feed on seeds, often coming to bird tables in gardens.
How to identify: Large billed, greyish green with a yellow patch in the wing.
