Make your own bird feeder

What you need

 

  • a plastic bottle
  • two foil or plastic food dishes a few centimetres wider than the bottle
  • a strong stick longer then the width of the bottle
  • two pieces of string about twice the height of the bottle

 

Then follow the instructions on the downloadable activity sheet

    I love to feed the birds that come into my garden and sit and watch, some are very pretty, i do feed them more in the winter and lots of birds still come ack everyday for food

    interesting I like this because you recycle aswell as looking after our wildlife. :-)
